The First Year Experience is yet another key initiative which has been developed by the INTI team of experts to help students cope with their tertiary/ university education. Students are exposed to free academic skills sessions such as academic writing, mind mapping, note taking, preparing for examinations, library and information technology skills.

| The Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) initiative is meant to assist Year 1 and Year 2 students to cope with their studies at INTI and to better their academic grades. PASS is a program where students work together to consolidate their understanding, reinforce key concepts and develop effective study strategies. These sessions are led by “student leaders” who have excelled in their studies. |

| All students at INTI are exposed to an entrepreneurship module which has been developed to nurture young entrepreneurs among students. This is in line with the Government’s initiative to develop an entrepreneurial mind among our students, who in turn will be future leaders. |
