Accreditation
Accreditation is essential to ensure that every institution of higher education meets with the levels of quality set by the governing bodies. All INTI programmes are approved by the Ministry of Higher Education upon recommendation by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), an entity established by an Act of Parliament. The majority of the programmes have received full accreditation; some have provisional accreditation and a minimal have achieved minimum standard. INTI International College Subang (IICS) also adheres to stringent quality standards set by external accreditation bodies and through membership in professional associations worldwide.
Additionally, IICS obtained the prestigious MS ISO 9001:2000 standard in 2002. In 2003, IICS received a Certificate of Appreciation in Trade from the US Department of Commerce and the Quality Assurance Agency Excellence Rating from the United Kingdom. In 2005, it received two awards from the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia, for the Highest Number of Accredited Programmes and the Highest Enrolment of International Students.
Student Achievements
Student achievement can be measured in a number of ways: like comparing student test scores to a State/National norm, obtaining an award or receiving recognition of excellence for a certain something. Over the years, our students have done us proud. What follows are some of our past students’ achievements we would like to share with you.
On 23 September 2000, at the Mid Valley Megamall in Kuala Lumpur, a group of talented students from the INTI International College Subang built a pyramid using 9,455 empty aluminium cans in 24 minutes 54 seconds. The feat made it into the Guinness World Records.
On 17 June 2006, as part of the Charity Carnival held to raise funds for the SLE Foundation, 21 INTI International College Subang students crammed into an ‘old style’ mini cooper. The Carnival was organised in conjunction with INTI’s 20th Anniversary Celebrations.
