INTI College Sarawak is situated within the capital city of Kuching. Set amidst lush tropical rainforests, Kuching offers our students a diverse and stimulating natural backdrop to their studies.

All facilities are within short walking distance and are easily accessible. The facilities on campus are:

  • Besides that, INTI provides the following facilities for the convenience of Muslim students:

  • Surau - Muslim students and staff can perform daily prayers in our modern surau for both male and females. All our campuses are equipped with surau facilities offering a place where Muslim students and staff can perform their daily prayers comfortably
  • Halal food - All our campuses offer wholesome and nutritious halal food suitable for both our Muslim and non-Muslim students. This will promote interaction and integration among students of different ethnicity, faith and nationality to truly prepare students to become global citizens
  • Extra-Curricular Activities

    All students are eligible to join any college or university society. Our college societies cater to a wide variety of passions and interests, from arts and literature to the sciences and music and sports.

    Healthy bodies support healthy minds. To that end, the students can enjoy various sporting facilities ranging from playing fields for all forms of team sports to courts for squash, badminton and tennis at STAMPARK Recreational Park, which is located at BDC and about 10 minutes’ drive from the College. There is also a swimming pool, a gym and other sporting amenities available.

    All undergraduate and graduate students are also automatically enrolled in student unions. This means that every student can be involved in matters regarding student life such as improving student-run facilities and suggesting new student social activities.

    Accommodation

    All INTI College Sarawak undergraduates are offered college accommodation for maximum 2 semesters. The rental at college-owned property is lower than commercial accommodation.

    Campus Accommodation
    Most first year undergraduates choose to live on campus for added convenience. For second and third year students meanwhile, there is a ballot system in place. The on-campus accommodation can house a total of 300 students, with separate facilities for males and females.

    Each room is furnished with basic furniture such as beds, mattresses, study tables, chairs, wardrobes, bookshelves, and table lamps. A standard room is also equipped with fans. Other facilities like TV room (with ASTRO), washing machines, clothes dryers and hot & cold drinking fountains are provided for the students. Token operated washing machines and dryers are also available.

    The Student Services Department (SSD) keeps a list of houses / rooms that are available for students who wish to live off campus, and the list regularly updated. The SSD does not however get involved in price negotiations and tenancy terms.

    International Students

    International students are to submit their application forms as early as possible. This is to avoid any unnecessary delays in the admission process.

  • Application Fees: A RM 1,500 non-refundable fees is required of all applicants before the application can be processed. You may pay the application fees in the form of a bank draft, payable to “INTI College Sarawak” or you can send the funds via telegraphic transfer to the following account:

    Please fax a copy of the bank-in-slip, bearing your name and passport number to the International Student Office, after the transaction.

  • 1 photocopy of passport (photocopied passport must be complete with all the pages including the blank pages)
  • 10 passport-sized photographs
  • 1 certified true copy of the birth certificate (translated into English)
  • 1 certified true copy of the high school transcript (This should be in the original language, accompanied by a notarised English translation)
  • 1 certified true copy of the high school leaving certificate (This should be in the original language, accompanied by a notarised English translation)
  • APPLICATIONS SHOULD BE SUBMITTED AT LEAST 1 (ONE) MONTH
    PRIOR TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF EACH INTAKE
  • Notification Of Admission
    Successful applicants will be sent a registration package containing a Letter Of Offer, Fees Schedule and other related documents. Unsuccessful applicants will be informed in writing.

    Student Visa Approval Letter

  • Upon the issuance of the Letter of Offer, we will submit an application for student visa to the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia and Immigration Office in Malaysia on your behalf. This process may take approximately 1 to 2 months.
  • Upon obtaining the approval, a Student Visa Approval Letter will be issued by the Immigration Office. We will then require you to pay the advance fees of US $2,950 as stipulated in item 2 of “Related Fees”, before sending you the Student Visa Approval Letter.
  • You are required to obtain a single entry visa from the Embassy of Malaysia or the Malaysian High Commission in your home country (if applicable) before entering Malaysia.Arrival in Malaysia. Please provide details of your arrival to us (Fax No.: (+6082) 451 533) at least 5 (five) working days prior to your departure to Malaysia. Kindly take note that you must be picked up by our representative at the airport to obtain clearance at the Immigration checkpoint at the Kuching International Airport.
  • University Placement

    If you are planning to continue your studies overseas, you should visit the University Placement Department (UPD) for more information and assistance. There are many questions and details concerning overseas study and the UPD can help you in answering them.

    Career Placement & Counseling

    With INTI College Sarawak being part of the Laureate International Universities network, employability has become one of INTI’s core brand promises and every effort is undertaken to ensure that the college’s students are trained in soft skills and competencies.

    The Career Services & Job Placement Department (CSJPD) assists in career placements, job search, personal issues and much more. The Mentor Mentee programme under the Student Services Department, meanwhile, guides students who have problems with their studies, or need help adjusting to campus life.

    We also run the Peer Tutor programme, where volunteer students help their fellow college mates to settle in, as well as providing them guidance in their studies.
