    Our college societies cater to a wide variety of passions and interests, from arts and literature to the sciences to music to sports societies and much more.

    Healthy bodies support healthy minds. To that end, INTI College Sabah has various sporting facilities available such as a fitness centre, basketball court and other sporting amenities.

    All undergraduate and graduate students are also automatically enrolled in student unions. This means that every student can be involved in matters affecting student life such as ways to improve student-run facilities and the proposal of new student social activities.

    Accommodation

    The Carnation Hall is a suite of apartment style dormitories conveniently located in the vicinity of the college which can accommodate over 100 students. Amenities such as banks, food outlets, hypermarkets, retails stores, a launderette and medical clinics are all within easy reach.

    Priority is given to outstation and international students attending college for the first time, and every effort is made to help new students feesl at home.
    Each dormitory includes the following:

    To ensure student safety there is 24-hour security service.

    Please Note:

    1. The deposit has to be made together with the submission of the Accommodation Application Form before INTI College Sabah can process the application. The deposit will be forfeited if applicants cancel their bookings.
    2. New applicants must submit one passport-sized photograph along with the application form.
    3. If a student’s application for accommodation is rejected by INTI College Sabah for reason of non-availability of rooms, INTI College Sabah will refund the deposit and rental charges to the student.
    4. The one-time deposit shall be refunded at the end of the stay, provided neither the resident nor his or her guests have caused any damage to the student accommodation and / or any of INTI College Sabah’s property.
    5. Room allocation will be made at the discretion of the ACCOMMODATION OFFICE, and where possible, based on the student’s preference. The booking of room will be on a first come first serve basis.
    6. Reservation is made on a semester basis, with students allowed to continue their stay for 2 consecutive semesters. This, however, is subject to room availability.
    7. By submitting an application, it is agreed that all rules and regulations of INTI College Sabah will be adhered to at all times. Please call the Accommodation Office at (+6088) 765 701 / 23 to confirm your reservation before making any payment.
    8. The college reserves the right to alter, without prior notice, any of the information or cost stated above.

    Foreign Students

    INTI COLLEGE SABAH APPLICATION PROCEDURES FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

    1. Applicants are strongly advised to read the relevant course information brochure carefully. Ensure that you have met the entry requirement for the programme you are applying for.

    2. Complete the Application forms for Admission and Accommodation.

    3. Attach the following to your Application forms:
    a) Ten (10) passport-sized photographs

    b) Photocopy of passport (the whole booklet including all the blank pages)

    c) Photocopied documents of all academic qualifications from secondary/high schools, colleges or universities attended, English Language Proficiency e.g. TOEFL, IELTS (if applicable)
    * All supporting documents must be certified as true copies by the notary public. Please submit an English translation for any supporting documents that are not in English.

    d) Medical report from a registered physician in your country certifying that you are medically fit and free from the following ailments:

  • HIV / AIDS
  • Tuberculosis
  • Malaria
  • Leprosy
  • Sexually transmitted diseases
  • Hepatitis
  • Any contagious diseases
  • In addition, you are to furnish the results of a urine test certifying that you are tested negative from illicit drugs which include morphine, cannabis and amphetamines. International students who fail any of the above-mentioned tests will not be granted the student pass by the immigration authorities in Sabah, Malaysia.

    Should the international student’s medical report is not satisfactory, INTI College Sabah has the right to request the student to perform the medical examination again at the student’s own expense. The medical examination must be performed 3 months prior to the commencement date of one’s programme.

    e) A non-refundable application fees of RM 500 and a registration fees of RM500 or the equivalent of US $310 in the form of a bank draft in favour of "INTI Kinabalu Sdn Bhd".

    f) Accommodation deposit of RM 250 or the equivalent of US $78 in the form of a bank draft in favour of "INTI Kinabalu Sdn Bhd".

    4. Your complete application forms, supporting documents, bank draft or a copy of the telegraphic transfer advice must be sent to

    at least 2 months prior to the commencement date of your programme.

    5. If your application is successful, you will receive your Letter of Offer, fees schedule and other related documents. If it is unsuccessful, the College will notify you in writing.

    6. After the issuance of the Letter of Offer, the International Office will submit your application papers for student visa to the Immigration Office in Malaysia. This process will take approximately 2 months.

    7. Upon obtaining the Student Visa Approval Letter from the Immigration Office, you are required to pay the advanced tuition fees including miscellaneous fees for ONE semester (please refer to your Letter of Offer for the Total Fees payable) before the Original Approval Letter is sent to you. The International Office will fax you a copy of the Approval Letter (if necessary).

    8. If you require a single entry permit to enter Malaysia, you must bring your approval letter together with your passport to the nearest Malaysian Embassy / Consulate.

    9. The International Office must be informed on your travel itinerary at least five (5) working days prior to your arrival in Malaysia. Kindly take note that our College Representative must pick you up at the airport in order to obtain clearance from the Immigration checkpoint.

    10. On arrival at INTI College Sabah, you will enroll at the College. You are also required to submit your passport to the International Office for student pass stamping

    11. All international students will be evaluated on their proficiency in English. Exemptions for the English Placement Test (EPT) will be given to those who have scored high in their TOEFL / IELTS etc. Students who fail the EPT will be required to enroll into our English Improvement Programme (EIP) until they meet our minimum English requirement.
