INTI International College Penang (IICP) is located amidst beautiful parkland settings within the Bukit Jambul educational township. The College was set up in 1994 with a strong backing from the State Government to promote Penang as a regional centre of excellence for quality education.
Campus facilities include:

  • Design Lab & Library

    The Design Lab is a lab purposely designs and equipped with the latest Information Technology’s equipment for our Degree in engineering students to enhance their studies.
    Located on the 6th floor, the Library is well equipped with a wide array of reference materials, books, magazines and newspapers. All books and reference materials are neatly categorised and keyed into the library database for easy search. Students just need to key in the title, author or reference number on the computer provided to find their desired book. Other benefits include photocopy services as well as a Group Discussion area just outside the library for students who need to convene together.   • Lecture Theatre & Classroom

    Fully air-conditioned with a maximum seating capacity of 180, the lecture theater is normally used for large and official function held within the college itself. Normal classroom can fit up to 40 students in which students will have their classes and lecturer in normal classroom as we assure that one class should not exceed a capacity of 35 students.
  • Science Lab

    Established Science lab for student to have their indoor experiment done. It is being occupied by HSC and upcoming A-Level students for their chemistry and biology subject.
  • Engineering Lab

    Similar to the design lab, but the engineering lab more focuses on students who is taking up Physics subjects and other basic electrical and electronic papers during their Diploma courses
  • Cafeteria & Lobby

    The college cafeteria is where both students and staff congregate to enjoy their meals. Aside from economy rice, students have the option of making a la carte orders from the kitchen. The prices are reasonable while all food served in the cafeteria are certified halal. Students also enjoy free Internet service with their laptops.

  • Academic Consultation Cubicle

  • Group Learning Cubicle

    Designed similarly like the academic consultant cubicle, the function of the group learning cubicle is to provide a conducive discussion area for student to discuss their homework and assignment among group members.
  • Cyber Circle

    The Round Table area provides computers with Internet access. Students can use the computers within this area to complete their homework or surf for relevant information. In addition, the College offers free hotspot service with fast Internet access throughout the campus for students carrying portable laptops or PDAs.

INTI provides the following facilities for the convenience of Muslim students:

  • Surau - Muslim students and staff can perform daily prayers at the surau. All our campuses are equipped with modern surau facilities so Muslim students and staff can adhere to their religious duties.
  • Halal food - All our campuses offer wholesome and nutritious halal food, suitable for both Muslim and non-Muslim students. This encourages interaction among students of different ethnicities, faiths and nationalities.
  • Extra-Curricular Activities

    With a wide array of sports facilities available on campus, students are given every opportunity to participate in sporting activities organised by the Department of Student Affairs. Facilities provided include pool and table tennis tables, as well as basketball and tennis courts.

    INTI International College Penang (IICP) is the only private college in Penang that offers its own purpose-built, on-campus accommodation known as the International House – located within a five-minute walk from the campus. The resort-like building can accommodate 170 male and 211 female residents in rooms of various configurations on a first-come-first-served basis.

    The Main Building, which has different accommodation sections for males, also houses the hostel administrative-cum-reception office and facilities like study rooms, a TV room and hostel canteen. The North Wing provides accommodation exclusively for female residents.

    IICP also has its own in-house security guards who are on duty 24 hours a day, while a Housemaster and Housemistress are always present to look after the residents’ welfare.

    Types of Accommodation:

    Both the Main Building and the North Wing offer the following types of accommodation:

  • Single occupancy: 1 person per room
  • Single with air-con: 1 person per room with air conditioning
  • Double-single: 2 persons per room
  • Double-single with air-con: 2 persons per room with air-conditioning
  • Double-decker: 2 persons per room with double-decker bed
  • Studio room: 5 or 6 persons per studio room

    Each room is furnished with:

  • Photograph. 8 photographs with 6 cm x 4 cm in dimension and with blue background only.
  • Passport. 1 photocopy of passport (the whole booklet including the blank pages).
  • Educational Credentials. 2 certified true copies of all academic qualifications (high schoo l/ college / university qualifications). These documents should be in the original language, accompanied by a notarised English translation.
  • English Language Proficiency. An official score report showing one of the following:
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
  • Otherwise, English Placement Test (EPT) will be applicable. Students who fail the EPT will be required to enrol in the English Improvement Programme (EIP) until they meet the minimum English requirements.
  • APPLICATIONS SHOULD BE SUBMITTED AT LEAST 2 (TWO) MONTHS

    Notification Of Admission
    Successful applicants will be sent a registration package containing a Letter Of Offer, Fees Schedule and other related documents. Unsuccessful applicants will be informed in writing.

    Student Visa Approval Letter

  • After the issuance of the Letter of Offer, we will submit an application for student visa to the Ministry of Higher Education and Immigration Office in Malaysia on your behalf. This process may take approximately 1 to 2 months.
  • Upon obtaining the approval, a Student Visa Approval Letter will be issued by the Immigration Office. We will then require you to pay the advance fees of US $2,950 as stipulated in item 2 of “Related Fees”, before sending you the Student Visa Approval Letter.
  • You are required to obtain a single entry visa from the Embassy of Malaysia or the Malaysian High Commission in your home country (if applicable) before entering Malaysia.
  • Arrival in Malaysia
    Please provide details of your arrival to us (Fax No.: (+604) 645 7505) at least 3 (three) working days prior to your departure to Malaysia. Kindly take note that you must be picked up by our representative at the airport in order to obtain clearance from the Immigration checkpoint at the Penang International Airport. YOUR APPLICATION SHOULD BE SENT TO US AT LEAST 2 (TWO) MONTHS
    PRIOR TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF EACH INTAKE

    INTI does not only provide quality education in Malaysia. Its in-house University Placement Office (UPO) also prepares students for further studies overseas. The trained counselors at the UPO will provide students with detailed information and free assistance on enrolment at universities abroad. As a one-stop centre for overseas university placements, UPO offers thorough services ranging from university application to visa application and ticket booking. UPO has links with over 250 universities in 5 countries, namely Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and Canada. This excellent collaboration with numerous partner universities worldwide offers students good placement opportunities at the university of their choice.

  • We always encourage students to book their flights as soon as possible to avoid unnecessary problems. We also help students to book their flights

  • University prospectuses, brochures or reference materials are placed at the office library for students’ reference. We have a room where students can access the Internet to search for university information. We also have a collection of videos and CD-ROMs from various universities
  • Seminars, talks, personal interview sessions and in-house education fairs by partner universities

  • UPO frequently organises talks/seminars/personal interview sessions by partner universities to give students the chance to meet and present their queries to the representatives personally
  • The in-house exhibition or Information Day is held 2 to 3 times a year where students can glean more information about universities in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America
  • Career Placements & Counseling

    The Career and Counselling Centre (CCC) assists students with career placements, job search, personal issues and much more, while the mentor assignment programme guides students who find it difficult to cope with their studies or just need moral support while adjusting to student life on campus. The CCC also runs the Peer Support and Peer Interact Society, where volunteer students help their fellow college mates in dealing with their issues and problems. A programme called Peer Tutor is specifically for students who require peer support and guidance in their studies.
